Der Kaiser ist nackt (the emperor is naked) is a spatial installation. There is a museum bench in the room to sit on. The bench is deliberately plain so as not to distract from the essential. The sound of the building fills the space and transforms the installation into a sound installation. The visitor is invited to pause and consciously perceive the space and the sounds.
