Sound-room installation
60 Minutes
2017 | Rapperswil

El Aleph was a room installation at Kunst(zeug)haus Rapperswil, shown in the Seitenwagen format. It consisted of a loudspeaker, three wooden columns and three wooden benches, which in their entirety represented seven trees. The loudspeaker played recordings of a tree made with a tactile microphone.

The work El Aleph refers to the short story of the same name by Jorge Luis Borges, which is about a portal where one perceives the whole world.
