Nun kann ich euch in Frieden betrachten consists of 366 colourful flags and small bells hung in a narrow alley between the house and the monastery wall with the help of cow wire. The sound installation is time-based; it will be destroyed after the exhibition.
This work visualises in flags of different colours how many animals are killed for consumption worldwide within one second. The different colours stand for the different animals listed in the statistics. Every year 3,170,476,248,668 animals are killed for consumption.
