Autobiographical sculpture
2017 | Appenzell

Rachgelust is a sculpture made of medicine packaging. Package inserts, cardboard packaging and plastic cans were arranged in the room in such a way that they form an abstract shape of the throat. All things that a living being swallows, including tablets, pass through the throat. The drug Neo-Mercazole, whose packaging was used, is used in the treatment of hyperthyroidism. The thyroid gland is located at the bottom of the throat. The sculpture makes a noise because the individual components touch each other loosely.
