Un plato de pasta was a plate made entirely of pasta. There was a base of fresh pasta on which a layer of fabricated farfalle was pressed. Since fresh food has a limited life span, the consumption of the plate was additionally documented from a subjective point of view.
Furthermore, the title is a play on words, as it means both a pasta dish and a plate of pasta.
